At the Boys & Girls Club of Rosebud, we believe our youth are sacred. That is why, in everything we do, we seek to empower our youth to live out their dreams. We do this through consistent mentoring relationships, and a focus on our three priority outcomes: academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles.
Everyone loves a comeback story. Since establishment in December 2004, our Club has had its share of struggles. Since reopening in 2014, we have taken a new direction. We have established our focus and priority outcomes and recruited passionate, qualified, and highly committed staff to make our prioritiy outcomes a reality for our kids. We have renovated each of our centers, with sites in Mission (home of our teen center), Rosebud, and Parmelee. The stage is set for sustainable success in serving our kids.
The Boys & Girls Club of Rosebud is currently the only afterschool program serving our reservation. Rather than one time events, we choose to focus our resources on providing consistency for our youth. We are the only center based, mentoring focused youth program on our reservation. We value our partnerships with excellent organizations such as Todd County School District, SDSU Extension Service, Sicangu CDC, Tiwahe Glu Kini Pi and Sinte Gleska University. Without our amazing volunteers, staff, and partners, we couldn’t do what we do.
