In 2017, we launched the Teen Club in order to continue to serve our youth as they enter their critical teenage years. The Teen Club is housed in the former bowling alley at the Mission site and contains 2,500 feet of space, including a library, table games, and an activity area.
Each day at the center features a variety of activities including pool tournaments, X-Box contests, and dodgeball. The first hour of each day is dedicated to Project Learn, a time for homework help and other academic growth. A hot supper is served at 5:00pm every night.
All members must fill out a membership application each year and follow the posted rules of respect. Membership is free of charge, and the Club is open five days a week.
Since 2017, our Teen Club members have formed a strong, tightly knit community. Together, they go on field trips, participate in lock-ins, complete service projects, mentor younger Club members, and continuously offer ideas as to how we can improve their Teen Club experience. We are proud of all they are accomplishing and grateful to continue to serve them as they get older.
